Many farmers use ladybugs as pest control because they live by eating pests such as aphids in your garden. They can consume about 50 aphids a day (each!). They also lay their eggs in aphid colonies – as soon as they hatch they start feeding!

Why Roses Garden Helpers?
Our family has shared the experiences of growing Rose’s Gardens Helpers for many of years! Our sons Layne, Morgan, Trenton, Zach, and our daughter in law Alaina together with our granddaughter Feyla have helped in different aspects of building this company!
Whether it would be harvesting, packaging, or labeling. We all had our hand in the business!
Tragically in 2020 our beloved Alaina and Feyla were taken from us due to the Zogg Fire that set havoc on our small community in Igo, CA and changed our lives forever! Alaina and Feyla loved to nurture injured animals of all kinds:
birds, lizzards, frogs, flying squirrels. Any four legged creature – big or small – even spiders! Those that know Alaina and Feyla would say they are full of LOVE! Alaina went to school to be a medical assistant – her smile is bright and beautiful! She was very talented in creating unique jewelry, loved to bake and nature.
Alaina would see a ladybug in the yard and make sure it had water to drink – she is a wonderful wife and mom! Feyla came into the world early at 3.9 pounds – she spent the first two months in NICU, she was a strong baby! Feyla overcame her obstacles and just like her mom she loved nature and to bake! As she started school she excelled in her class doing 4th grade work when she was in 2nd grade! Her passion is science and math! Feyla would find injured birds at school and bring them home – then both, her and mommy, would nurse them back to health so they could be released back into nature!
Feyla had her classmates catching lizards so she could relocate them off of the playground! She loved to share and help others!
The week before the fire Feyla was telling me ( her Amma) that she was going to graduate 8th grade and high school early … And I knew she could! Feyla also said she wanted to be a veterinarian and when she made enough money Feyla wanted to open a shelter for injured and unwanted animals! Feyla’s hopes and dreams were taken away from her!
Everywhere Alaina and Feyla went, the place would light up with their love and happiness and they touched many hearts!
In honor and memory of our angels all donations will be going into a trust fund that will be disbursed appropriately!
